What AmIFit does

AmIFit connects to your Strava account to give you AI-powered insights into your own activity data. We help you understand your training history, visualize where you've been active, and answer questions about your fitness data.

What data we collect

  • Your Strava profile information (name, profile photo, athlete ID)
  • Your Strava activity data: activity name, date, type, distance, duration, elevation, and approximate start location (rounded to ~100m precision)
  • Your Strava OAuth tokens, used solely to fetch your activity data on your behalf

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to power features within AmIFit — including the AI chat, the activity map, and your dashboard stats. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the service to you.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal data or activity data to any third party. Period.

Third-party services

  • Strava — your activity data is fetched from Strava via their API. Strava's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data.
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — your activity data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic does not train on API data. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

Data retention

Your activity data is stored in our database as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure token storage. We do not store your Strava password.
